72 days from direct-sowing. How sweet is this new sugar-enhanced Corn? Well, according to one of our tasters, a single bite "makes you feel like you're in Hershey, Pennsylvania!" I don't know if any Corn can beat a chocolate bar for sugary flavor, but Temptation Hybrid is obviously out to try!
This Corn is more than just great flavor, though. It is super reliable and early to produce. Our growers reported an average of 72 days, but the seeds in our trial gardens last year beat all other varieties to the tassel, ready to eat in just 60 to 64 days! The plants are very heavy-yielding, too, with plenty of 7- to 8-inch ears just stuffed with bright yellow kernels. Talk about great "tip fill" — these kernels go to the very end and look ready to jump right off the cob!
Reaching 6 feet tall in any sunny, well-drained garden soil, Temptation Hybrid is a breeze to grow and a joy to eat. It's so sweet you'll retire the butter dish permanently, and with yields like these, you can finally have your fill of sugar without all the calories and tooth decay!
Begin sowing right after the last spring frost, and keep planting every 2 weeks or so right up till midsummer for an extra-long harvest season. Pkt is 100 seeds.
